    AngusOne Professional Recruitment and Templine Ltd. respects the privacy of individuals in all aspects of our business operations. We have a longstanding commitment to protecting the personal information of job seekers when providing services to our clients. Your personal information is only collected, used and disclosed by AngusOne in strict accordance with the requirements of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

    WHY DO WE COLLECT?

    As a job seeker using AngusOne's staffing services, you will be asked to provide certain pieces of information in order for us to provide you with the best possible service. In addition to your contact details, your resume and a description of the type of work you are looking for, your file may include the following:

    Interview notes, Information obtained through reference checks & background checks, Educational records, Reference letters, Skill testing results.

    For temporary staffing arrangements, we also require:

    • Information required to provide our payroll services, including banking details, tax deductions and vacation allowances, etc.

    We use your information to:

    • Understand your qualifications, needs and preferences

    • Find you the best job opportunities that will match your needs

    • Fulfill our client's requests for information about job candidates

    • Provide you with appropriate recommendations on training or career services

    • Provide payroll and other HR functions to you, for temporary staffing arrangements

    AngusOne never collects more personal information than is needed to fulfill these purposes, unless requested by the client and consented to by the job seeker.

    HOW LONG IS YOUR INFORMATION RETAINED?

    We retain your information as long as you engage our services, or longer if required for business or legal purposes. For temporary workers we actively retain your information as long as you are on our payroll, and for seven years thereafter. For permanent placements, we actively retain your information for one year after you accept a permanent employment position.

    HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SECURE?

    AngusOne has very strict procedures and policies in place to ensure your personal information in both paper and electronic format are completely secure & protected.

    WHEN DO WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION AND TO WHOM?

    Your personal information is never traded, sold or leased by us to any external companies. Your information is only disclosed for AngusOne’s legitimate business purposes or as required to meet legal & regulatory requirements, for example to comply with a court order. In the normal course of business, we disclose your information to clients when we feel there is a potential for a job placement. As a job seeker, you are relying on us to share such information. We only provide the necessary information required and requested to make an informed decision regarding a job candidate.

    Having read this policy and by using our services and providing us with your personal information, we imply your consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your information in accordance with PIPEDA (the privacy act).


    THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT AND YOUR PROMISE NOT TO DISCLOSE CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION

    CLIENT CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION

    During your employment with Templine, you will be working on the premises of our clients and may have access to confidential information which may consist of one or more of the following categories of information (collectively, the “Confidential Information”):

    1. FINANCIAL INFORMATION, such as clients’ earnings, assets, debts, prices, pricing structures, volumes of purchases or sales or other financial data, whether relating to the client generally, or to particular products, services, geographic areas, or time periods;

    2. SUPPLY AND SERVICE INFORMATION, such as goods and services, suppliers’ names and addresses, terms of supply or service contracts, or of particular transactions, or related information about potential suppliers;

    3. MARKETING INFORMATION, such as goods and services, suppliers’ names and addresses, terms of supply or service contracts, or of particular transactions, or related information about potential suppliers;

    4. PERSONNEL INFORMATION, such as employees’ personal or medical histories, compensation or other terms of employment, actual or proposed promotions, hiring, resignations, disciplinary actions, terminations or reasons therefore, training methods, performance or other employee information;

    5. CUSTOMER INFORMATION, such as compilation of past, existing or prospective customers, customers’ proposals or agreements between customers and client, status of customers’ account or credit, or related information about actual or prospective customers;

    6. TRADE SECRETS, including formulae, patterns, devices, secret inventions, processes, specifications, and other information owned by clients and regularly used in the operation of the businesses of the clients; and

    7. FILES, including records, documents, drawings, specifications, equipment and other items relating to the businesses of the clients.

    ALL CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION

    We have talked with you about the fact that your relationship with AngusOne and Templine and our clients, candidates and employees is one of strict confidence with respect to the Confidential Information. Therefore, during and after your employment with us, regardless of the reason for the termination of that employment, you agree to:

    1. Hold all the Confidential Information in complete confidence and not discuss, communicate, use for personal or business reasons or transmit it to anyone else, or make any unauthorized copy or use any such information in any capacity, position or business related or unrelated to AngusOne and Templine’s businesses and clients’ businesses; and

    2. Govern yourself in a strict accordance with all the requirements of the legislated federal Privacy Act and Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA); and

    3. Accept and comply with all reasonable action that AngusOne and Templine deems necessary or appropriate to prevent the unauthorized use or disclosure of any of the Confidential Information

    4. I understand that temporary employment through AngusOne and Templine means that my assignment, regardless of original estimated end date supplied by our client, may end at any time without notice.

    Your promises are made to AngusOne and Templine. They are also made to our clients. They are a condition of your employment at all times with AngusOne and Templine.

    REMEMBER THAT DURING YOUR TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENTS YOU ARE AN ANGUS ONE PROFESSIONAL RECRUITMENT/templine (AngusOne) EMPLOYEE, even though you will be working directly for our clients.

    REMEMBER TO:

    • Stay in communication with your Recruitment Consultant.

    • You are an employee of AngusOne and any problems should be discussed directly with us.

    • We are always here to help you and lend an understanding ear – please feel free to call or email us.

    • Email us the day you start your assignment – to let us know how things are going.

    • Email us near the end of your assignment - this gives us the opportunity to offer you another assignment.

    • Call us immediately if the client asks you to work overtime or if there any changes to your assignment.

    • Never solicit or accept an employment opportunity directly from our clients.

    • If an offer of employment is made, please contact your AngusOne consultant immediately to assist you.

    • Your Recruitment Consultant is trained to negotiate your offer and will support your next step.

    • Please call AngusOne immediately if you are unable to go in due to illness or personal emergency.

    • Please call us immediately if you are unable to fulfill your commitment to the assignment.

    • We require 1 week’s notice so that we may have ample time to replace you on your assignment.

    • Please do not accept an assignment that you don’t think you will enjoy or be able to complete.

    • We expect all temporary assignments to be completed unless the client determines otherwise.

    MANDATORY TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL ASSIGNMENT:

    • Arrive early the first day to familiarize yourself with the office environment and routine.

    • Allow for possible delays due to weather, traffic, etc when travelling to your assignment.

    • Dress professionally - unless your consultant tells you otherwise. Please keep your cell phone off.

    • When in doubt, ask questions - don’t assume.

    • You are going into a situation where they need your help - you are not expected to know everything.

    • Flexibility and a positive attitude are the most important personal attributes that you can offer to the client.

    • Observe the clients’ policies regarding breaks - including lunch.

    • Please do not use company equipment for personal business eg. Internet, phone, fax, photocopier.

    • Ask for additional work if you finish your assigned work.

    • Do not ask for a reference at your assignment. Please reach out to your consultant for this.

    • Be professional at all times – you are part of a winning team and we value you!
